Penn's Treaty with the Indians

Hicks painted several versions of Penn's Treaty.  This example is of the type from the mid-1830s.  The veneered frame replicates the damage and repairs that a period original would have acquired over the years.  This example also has an antiqued varnish surface.  Oil on Canvas, 22 x 28 inches plus frame.  While this example is SOLD, contact me to commission a comparable piece.
