The Fellowship

The Lord of the Rings is one of my favorite books, and as a kid I was overjoyed to see Ralph Bakshi's animated version.  Heritage miniatures released a 75mm line depicting the main characters in the late 1970s, but at around $10 each, they were out of my adolescent price range (though I did purchase Legolas back then).  Thanks to eBay I managed to acquire the full range, and could resist joining them on a scenic base that is housed under a glass dome.  This display earned a bronze medal at the 2005 Miniature Figure Collectors of America (MFCA) show in Valley Forge, PA.
